Phase A 
Learners demonstrate creative thinking, explore digital media and visual modes to communicate in order to support inquiry. They are introduced to digital tools and use thinking skills to gather and use information. They explore how tech can influence their own behavior and are introduced to ethical behavior as well as being exposed to digital technology concepts, systems, and operations. ​

Phase B 
Learners demonstrate creative thinking, construct knowledge, and develop products using technology. They explore digital media and visual modes to communicate, inquire and work cooperatively. They use digital tools and thinking skills to conduct research, solve problems and make decisions. While engaging with technology concepts, systems, and operations learners explore human issues related to digital technology and practice ethical behavior.

Phase C
Learners demonstrate creative thinking, construct knowledge, in order to develop innovative products and processes using technology. They engage digital media and visual modes to communicate and work collaboratively, in order to support individualized inquiry. They use critical thinking skills to conduct research, solve problems, set goals and make sound decisions using appropriate digital tools and resources. They demonstrate an awareness of technology concepts, systems, and operations and endeavor to understand human, and cultural issues related to technology as well as practice legal and ethical behavior. ​

Phase D
Using digital technology learners create products and processes building on their prior knowledge and thinking innovatively. They flexibly use digital media and visual modes to support individualized inquiry, work collaboratively even at a distance as well as supporting the inquiries of others. They apply critical thinking skills and are using are fluent in using appropriate digital tools to plan inquiry, conduct research, manage projects, solve problems, and make informed decisions. They advocate for human, cultural, and global issues related to technology and practice legal and ethical behavior whilst demonstrating a sound understanding of technology concepts, systems, and operations.
